Job summary

NWU in Canton, Ohio is seeking a student-focused candidate to participate in process improvement projects within our rolling mill. You will collaborate with the rolling mill team from project initiation to completion, and coordinate with planners and schedulers on repair initiatives.

Ideal candidates are full-time students pursuing Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and at least 30 credit hours completed by Spring 2027.

Qualifications

• GPA required: minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Completion of 30 or more credit hours by end of Spring 2027 semester.
• Full-time student status at an accredited two-year or four-year college/university.

Responsibilities

• Work on process improvement opportunities in the rolling mill.
• Collaborate with the rolling mill team on an assigned project from start to completion.
• Coordinate with planners and schedulers on repair projects.
