Job summary

Delta Building Center in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Production Associate to assist in the metal roofing and siding production environment under supervision of the Metals Production Manager and the Metals Operations Manager.

You will operate rollforming, trim slitting and bending equipment, and safely use a forklift, while helping customers with orders and pickups and maintaining a clean, organized shop.

Job description

Under the direct supervision of the Metals Production Manager and the Metals Operations Manager, this position will assist with production of various products in the metal roofing and siding industry.

Essential Functions

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

This job operates in a professional production plant with loud machinery and sensitive computerized equipment.

Physical Demands

This role requires long hours standing and walking on concrete floors. It also requires the ability to lift heavy items. Must be able to function on fast paced demand.

Travel

No out of town travel is expected for this position.
