Job summary

Nucor Buildings Group Texas is seeking a Rollforming Supervisor to lead and supervise Rollforming operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production of purlin, panels, trims, and structural accessories. The role emphasizes directing the Rollforming team, enforcing policies, and cross-department collaboration.

Candidates should have leadership experience, a high school diploma or GED, and be capable of performing all essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, lead and uphold safety policies and housekeeping standards.
• Provide guidance to Rollforming teammates and oversee operations of rollforming production (purlin, panel, trim, and structural accessories).
• Ensure production policies regarding production, inventory, quality, and training are followed.
• Promote safety, environment, quality, productivity and profitability through leadership.
• Coordinate across departments for efficient workflow, resources, and scheduling.
• Support and develop teammates to assume broader responsibilities.
• Safely operate equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts.

Basic Job Functions:

• Demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold all safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Show commitment to Safety, Environmental, Quality, Productivity, and Profitability through strong leadership across the division.
• Provide guidance and direction to all Rollforming teammates.
• Oversee all Rollforming operations including the safe production of purlin, panel, trim, and structural accessories as required.
• Understand and execute departmental policies concerning production, inventory, quality, and training.
• Ensure teammates maintain a safe work environment and demonstrate a strong personal safety attitude.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient workflow, resource allocation, and scheduling.
• Communicate effectively to promote teamwork and a productive work environment.
• Help teammates continuously improve performance in safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
• Provide feedback to Rollforming leadership regarding teammate performance.
• Develop teammates beyond their current roles to prepare them for broader responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Rollforming Supervisor.
• Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.
• Learn all Rollforming positions to effectively provide coverage as required.
• Understand the Rollforming schedule to ensure completion and load dates are met, supporting customer delivery commitments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience or cross training of NBG Rollforming operations and equipment.
• Prior leadership experience.
