Job summary

Ferrovial's Webber division is seeking a Foreman/Equipment Operator for heavy civil construction projects in the United States. You will operate self-propelled machinery to compact earth and other materials, while adhering to safety policies and leading on site.

Ideal candidates have related construction experience and can perform heavy physical work outdoors in varied weather; pre-employment screening and drug testing are required.

Qualifications

• Move throughout a construction jobsite including ladders and inclines.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures; report unsafe activities.
• Heavy physical activity; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate a self-propelled machine to compact earth fills, subgrade, and other materials (excluding bituminous).
• Start engines, move throttles, switches and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
• Take actions to avoid hazards and obstructions on site.
