Job summary

SMS group Inc. in Gary, IN invites a Roll Welder to join our fabrication team. You will assemble, fit, track, and weld a variety of complex steel rolls, following SOPs and safety standards.

No extensive welding experience required for the right candidate; training provided. We offer paid vacation, holidays, a 401(k) match after six months, and a competitive benefits package.

• Complete SOP travelers to document daily activities

Responsibilities

• Setup of automated welding equipment
• Maintain documentation and SOP travelers during daily activities.
