Job summary

SOUTHERN CHAMPION TRAY LLC is hiring a Roll Warehouse Assistant for the Amnicola plant in Chattanooga, TN. The role focuses on safe loading/unloading of paperboard rolls, inventory accuracy, and orderly warehouse operations to support production needs.

Day shift runs 6:25 AM to 6:35 PM EST (3 days/12 hours). Responsibilities include RF tracking, staging according to production schedules, and adherence to 5S and food safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; basic computer skills and ability to use software.
• Must read/understand documents in English and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, label and store all paperboard rolls.
• Verify incoming/outgoing shipments against records (packing lists).
• Communicate with buyers to rectify issues such as damage or shortages.
• Use RF equipment to track rolls through the warehouse.
• Monitor production schedule for proper roll staging.
• Maintain 5S and safe storage; assist in periodic inventory events.
• Load outbound shipments and participate in process improvements.
