Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Roll Thread Setup Operator on 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) in Elyria, OH. The role pays $24.00/hour and requires prior Roll Thread experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate and adjust the Roll Thread machine while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior Roll Thread operator experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret shop orders.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand/walk 8–10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Roll Thread machine.
• Change tooling for job setup; replace tooling and adjust as needed.
• Pull tooling from Tool Crib and document on the tooling sign-out sheet.
• Adjust machine settings as required.
• Read and interpret shop orders to produce parts to spec.
• Use gauges to check parts meet quality standards.
• Enter production into kiosk and move product to next operation.
• Perform daily maintenance on machines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized workspace; follow health and safety rules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
