Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Mitchell, SD is seeking a Roll Tender to contribute to web offset press operations. You will set up materials for press operation, assist equipment operators, and help maintain product quality and standards onsite.

The role requires working 12-hour shifts with night and weekend differentials, willingness to overtime, and a benefits package that starts on the first day. Manufacturing experience is preferred and reliability is essential to support production

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Roll Tender Job Description

Position Location: Mitchell, SD

ROLL TENDER WAGE: $21.27/HR + SHIFT PREMIUM

• 12 HOUR NIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $1.50
• 2ND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $1:50
• 3RD SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $1:50

Schedule Requirements

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (6:00 to 6:00)
• MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO WORK EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required
• 3-2-2 schedule (rotating days of the week)
• Must be willing and able to work overtime

Roll Tender Job Summary

• Participates in overall product outcome associated with web offset presses
• Interprets and documents standards related to product performance/quality
• Assists in the maintenance and set up of equipment for customer product
• Able to fill in as Assistant Press Operator if needed
• Supervision for position is random.

Roll Tender Job Functions

• Sets up materials for press operation
• Assist in the performance of equipment operators, adjustments, tests and conversions on all equipment associated with converting operators.
• Participates in maintaining department integrity to ensure consistent quality and operational standards are maintained.
• Verifies and communicates both product standards and work standards to execute production
• Performs other organizational duties are required.

• Manufacturing experience preferred
