Graphic Packaging International in Minnesota is seeking a Printing Assistant 1 for the night shift (11pm–7am). This entry-level role emphasizes training across press operations, with a path to becoming a Press Operator and a focus on food-safety and quality.

Printing Assistant 1 - 11pm-7am (Sunday night 11pm - Friday morning 7am)
Wage: Starting at $20.56, automatic raises every 4 months till you reach top pay. Top pay $26.27, then annual raises thereafter. Additional $1.50 for shift differential. This position is an entry-level role with the opportunity for advancement to Press Operator. Weekly open Interviews on Wednesday 10am - 2pm.

Position Purpose
The position is an entry level position and is intended to be used for “flex” purposes to allow maximum training and development. Employee can be assigned to a variety of tasks within the parameters of the union contract at the Production Supervisor’s discretion. This position should have special emphasis on ensuring a focus on training on all equipment within the department.

Physical/Mental Requirements
Frequent/strenuous physical effort (lifting, moving heavy objects, etc.) required. Frequently exposed to conditions involving noise, fumes, and hazardous chemicals. Must be able to work overtime as required.
