Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Roll Clamp Driver for the night shift at our facility. The role includes loading/unloading, operating forklifts, and coordinating shuttle movements between buildings to support on-time production. Night differential of $1.15/hour applies.

Responsibilities include RF documentation, adherence to food safety and quality standards, and teamwork with warehouse leaders to ensure accurate inventory and shipment records.

Qualifications

  • Must carry photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID, Passport).
  • Ability to complete job specific training for essential functions.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to follow instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize duties and stay organized.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Works well in a solitary environment and with a team.
  • Must perform the physical functions of the job (up to 12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

$1,500 Retention Bonus for New Hires and Qualifying Rehires
Starting At $23.26, progressing to $23.52 at 6 months
$1.15/Hour Shift Differential for Night Shift

Night Shift Position

Job Description:

  • Perform all duties in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Participate in safety meetings and safety tours.
  • Ensure production and distribution of products is consistent with established food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
  • Work with group leaders to coordinate shuttle movement between buildings.
  • Understanding production schedules.
  • Load and unload material from shuttles.
  • Perform duties of Roll Clamp in the Warehouse as assigned.
    • Deliver raw or in-process materials to production areas.
    • Operate RF unit, properly document transactions between production and warehouse.
    • Store all materials in designated storage areas according to designated storage patterns.
    • Document all movement within the warehouse & facility.
    • Consolidate products in warehouse to ensure FIFO standards are met in the warehouse.
    • Unload, store, and properly document inbound/outbound shipments.
    • Reconcile inventory discrepancies by working with support staff & warehouse leadership teams.
    • Notify Supervisor and/or Group Leader of any damaged shipments, inventory discrepancies, incidents, or upset conditions.
    • Complete PIV inspections sheets on all trucks operated, report problems to Leadership team.
    • Shuttle materials required for production needs from outside warehouse.
    • Communication between outer buildings when ordering materials.
    • Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), scrap systems, balers, scrubbers, etc.
    • Fill propane tanks, as assigned.
  • Once qualified, instruct and train other operators.
  • Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Fulfilling overtime requirements as necessary to ensure job requirements are met.
  • Perform all duties assigned by warehouse leadership team.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize assigned work duties, organizational skills, and detail oriented.

  • Works well in a solitary environment & with a team.
  • Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without accommodation. This includes Sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours; Lifting up to 50 lbs.; Visual acuity and depth perception necessary to operator PIV; Working in various temperatures & humidity levels.

Safe Quality Food Responsibilities:

Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods.
Report to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.
Participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required.
Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
Report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation.
