Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Roll Tender for paper handling and production tasks in a fast-paced plant environment. You will order, inspect, mount, and splice paper while keeping supplies stocked and ensuring smooth production periods.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months of manufacturing experience, and strong safety, reliability, and communication skills. Overtime is required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform work productively and safely.
• Reliable; good attendance is required.
• Required to work mandatory overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Order, inspect, mount, and effectively splice paper.
• Maintain adequate levels of supplies and solutions during production.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Support 36-hour work week on a 2 days on / 2 days off schedule.
