Job summary

Sheridan in Vermont is seeking a Roll Tender – Days to join our production team. You will order, inspect, mount, and splice paper while maintaining supplies and solutions throughout production.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The schedule is 2 days on / 2 days off, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with overtime and a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work productively and safely.
• Reliable; good attendance required.
• Overtime may be required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Frequent standing, walking, and overhead work.

Responsibilities

• Order, inspect, mount and splice paper to production standards.
• Maintain adequate levels of supplies and solutions during production periods.
• Operate in a 2 days on / 2 days off schedule, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (36 hours/week).
• Participate in overtime pay after 36 hours per week and shift incentives.
