Job summary

SA Recycling LLC is seeking a Roll Off Driver in Chattanooga, TN for full-time on-site work. You will load/unload trucks, inspect metal grades, and perform daily safety checks in a scrap yard environment.

Strong communication with the office and customers is essential to determine loads and ensure safe operations. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass medical and background checks, and preferred bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively, understand directions, and use basic math.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal.
• Inspect and determine metal grade for inventory tracking.
• Perform DOT daily operation and safety inspection.
• Communicate with office and customers to determine commodities to load.
• Work independently when driving scrap metal and in yard operations.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
