Job summary

Wall Recycling, LLC in Greensboro, NC is seeking a dependable Class B CDL Driver to operate a heavy commercial truck safely and in full compliance with DOT and our safety standards. You will complete daily DVIRs and maintain professional conduct while on the job.

Requirements include a clean driving record, a current DOT medical card, ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and relocation to Raleigh, NC before starting.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record, up-to-date DOT medical card, and a Class A or B CDL.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Roll Off Truck: 1 year (Preferred)
• Minimum Class B CDL (Required)
• Relocate before starting work to Raleigh, NC 27610 (Required)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy commercial truck in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Complete driver vehicle condition reports (DVIR) daily to identify and address defects.
• Adhere to company policies and safety rules; maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers.
• Ensure responsibilities are completed in a timely and safe manner; follow the work schedule.

Job Description:

Class B CDL Driver is responsible for the safe operation of a heavy commercial truck. Driver is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with DOT and the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes driver vehicle condition reports (“DVIR”) on a daily basis to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner.

• Management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in a timely and safe manner
• Follow through ability and adheres to work schedule.
• Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules. Follows the Company’s safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks.

Required Qualifications:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Candidates with 3+ years of experience will be eligible for a potential sign-on bonus of $1000
