Job summary

Culpeper Chamber of Commerce seeks a Class B CDL Roll-Off Driver to safely collect and transport waste for commercial and residential customers on a local route with a steady, full-time schedule.

Shifts run Wednesday through Sunday with Mondays and Tuesdays off, night/early morning starts, and an average of 45–50 hours per week year-round.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B required; Class A welcomed).
• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience or a certificate of completion from an accredited CDL school.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks associated with operating roll-off containers, pulling cables, and entering/exiting the truck cab.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class B Roll-Off truck to collect and transport waste materials.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
• Maintain clean cab interior and follow company and safety protocols.
• Provide professional and courteous service to commercial and residential customer sites along your route.
• Communicate mechanical issues or route hazards promptly to dispatch/maintenance.

The Roll-Off Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers across multiple lines of businesses. The CDL Driver will collect waste from customer sites and transport to post-collection facilities for proper disposal.

Work Schedule

Shift Days: Wednesday – Sunday (Off every Monday & Tuesday)

Hours: Night/Early Morning Start (12:00 AM – 1:00 AM start time)

Weekly Hours: ~45–50 hours per week (Year-round, full-time)

Weekend perk: Off by ~8:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays
