Job summary

GFL is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to safely operate a roll-off truck and collect waste for customers in Michigan. You will transport waste to post-collection facilities and provide courteous service on every route.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, completing required reports, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, following safety standards, and coordinating with dispatch to optimize routes. CDL required; 1 year driving experience preferred; a GED is desired.

Qualifications

• CDL required and 1 year driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to communicate in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment to collect waste.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports.
• Maintain route quality and document daily activities.
• Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor and maintain clean vehicle.
• Follow safety standards and company rules on operation and safety.
