Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet criteria for safety sensitive functions per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive truck and operate required equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment to collect waste.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete reports daily.
• Maintain route quality standards as directed by management.
• Notify supervisor of mechanical problems immediately and document issues.
• Follow safety standards and company rules; wear required PPE.
• Keep vehicle clean inside and out; maintain accurate service records.
• Communicate hazards to Supervisor/Lead before performing tasks.
• Work with supervisor to improve routing efficiencies and attend safety meetings.
• May be required to work overtime and perform other duties as assigned.
