Job summary

Capital Waste Services is hiring a Roll-Off Driver to operate roll-off trucks and transport containers between customer sites, transfer stations, recycling facilities, and landfills. You will deliver excellent customer service while complying with all DOT regulations and company policies.

The role requires strong driving skills, situational awareness, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Acceptable MVR.
• Able to meet company insurability requirements.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and DOT physical.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate Roll-Off truck in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Deliver, exchange, and remove roll-off containers at customer locations.
• Transport waste, recycling, construction debris, and other approved materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Properly secure containers and loads before transport.
• Ensure containers are positioned safely and accurately at customer locations.
• Complete assigned routes and service requests on schedule.
• Navigate construction sites and other challenging operating environments safely.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required documentation.
