Job summary

HTI in Easley, SC is seeking a Roll Forming Line Technician to operate and set up roll forming equipment, read blueprints, and ensure dimensional accuracy.

You will monitor quality, perform first-piece checks with calipers and gauges, log scrap and downtime, and collaborate with production teams to reduce waste while upholding OSHA safety standards.

Experience in metal fabrication and machine operation is preferred; forklift or overhead crane exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing or industrial machine operation.
• Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings and follow specifications.
• Proficient with calipers, tape measures, and gauges (accurate to 1/32 inch).
• Experience with roll forming, metal fabrication, or similar machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll forming equipment safely to meet output and quality targets.
• Set up tooling, make machine adjustments, and confirm proper operation.
• Interpret blueprints, production orders, and work instructions; perform first-piece checks.
• Use tape measures, calipers, and gauges for in-process inspections.
• Track dimensional accuracy and product quality during production.
• Troubleshoot minor machine, tooling, or material feed issues.
• Assist with coil loading using forklifts or overhead cranes (as authorized).
• Complete production, quality, scrap, and downtime records.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and routine checks.
• Maintain 5S standards and follow OSHA, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and leadership to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Roll Forming Line TechnicianHTI is partnering with a growing manufacturer in the Easley/Greenville, SC area to add a skilled Roll Forming Line Technician. If you enjoy setting up equipment, dialing in tooling, reading prints, and turning raw coil into precise metal components, this role puts you at the center of production.A Day in the LifeYour shift begins on the roll-forming line in Easley, SC. You review production orders and drawings, set tooling, verify machine parameters, and run first-piece checks with calipers and gauges. Throughout the run, you monitor dimensional accuracy, adjust feeds, and keep scrap and downtime logged. You coordinate with quality and production leaders to reduce waste, follow OSHA and lockout/tagout procedures, and keep the area 5S-clean. When needed, you assist with coil loading using a forklift or overhead crane (with proper authorization).
