Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions in Salisbury, NC seeks a Roll Forming Machine Operator for 1st shift (Mon–Thu, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM) on a 4x10 schedule with Fridays off. You will set up and operate roll-forming equipment to produce HVAC metal rolls and ductwork components.

Pay starts at $18/hr and increases to $20/hr after 90 days. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in manufacturing, familiarity with hand tools and measuring devices, and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices (tape measure, calipers).
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong attendance and team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate roll-forming machinery.
• Load and position sheet metal coils/sheets for feeding systems and inspect materials.
• Perform routine mechanical adjustments and blade/roller alignment checks.
• Measure finished rolls to ensure conformance to specifications and maintain quality.
• Maintain clean work area and follow PPE and safety protocols.

Job Title: Roll Forming Machine Operator Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4x10 Schedule – 3-Day Weekends!) Pay: $18.00/hr (Increases to $20.00/hr after 90 days )

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, mechanical-minded individual to join our manufacturing team as an HVAC Metal Roll Operator. In this role, you will set up, equipment used to produce custom metal rolls and ductwork components for the HVAC industry. If you have experience using hand tools, and working in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment, this is a great opportunity with predictable hours and clear pay advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, and monitor roll-forming machinery
• Material Handling: Load sheet metal coils/sheets into feed systems and inspect raw materials for quality.
• Mechanical Adjustments: Perform routine mechanical adjustments, blade alignments, roller clearances, and basic maintenance to ensure precision specs.
• Quality Control: Measure finished metal rolls and tape measures to ensure alignment with specifications..
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean work area and strictly adhere to company safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong hands‑on mechanical skills with experience using hand tools, and measuring equipment (tape measure, calipers).
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, good attendance, and a team-player attitude.

Schedule & Pay Structure

Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday (Enjoy every Friday off!)
