Job summary

The Chula Vista Elementary School District is seeking personnel to supervise elementary students in the cafeteria, lunch area, bus loading zones, and on the playground. You will guide children to ensure safe, active, and wholesome recreational activities during school hours.

Candidates must hold current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications and provide a resume. TB test and Mandated Reporter trainings are required prior to starting work.

Qualifications

• Current Adult and Child CPR, First Aid and AED from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association (No Online Only Training Certificates Accepted).
• Resume for current substitutes and employees as well as outside applicants.
• TB test documentation and Mandated Reporter trainings may be required before start.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must Complete The Following In Order To Start Work

• Provide Most Recent TB Test
• Provide A Copy of CPR/First Aid Certificate

Comments and Other Information

Probationary employees serving the initial probationary period (6 months) in the District are not eligible for voluntary transfer. However, they are eligible to apply for a promotional opportunity pursuant to Article 11, Transfer of the CVCEO/District Agreement.
