Pape-Dawson Engineers in Nashville, TN seeks a Rodman to support survey crews under the Party Chief. You will assist with line-of-sight setup, transport and placement of rods, tripods, and prisms, and perform field duties to ensure accurate measurements on land surveying projects.

The role requires comfort working outdoors in all weather, good communication, and reliable teamwork. Training is provided, and safety is a priority in daily field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to grasp basic surveying concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with engineering staff.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and terrains.
• Physical ability to lift and carry survey equipment weighing up to 35 lbs regularly.
• Demonstrated dependability and ability to work as part of a team.
