Job summary

EMH&T is currently looking for a Rodman to join our Survey team based in our Columbus, OH office. This full-time role assists survey operations in the field under the direction of a Survey Crew Chief or a Survey Instrument Operator. The Rodman may perform upkeep of certain equipment and maintain adequate supplies.

All EMH&T field personnel are subject to our safety-sensitive testing program. This means that your name will be placed in a pool for random screenings after your program

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience needed.
• Possible overtime and occasional travel/out-of-town work.

Responsibilities

• Site construction staking or capturing survey coordinates and elevations.
• Performs upkeep of equipment and maintains supplies for the survey crew.
• Manages equipment and supplies to and from work vehicles; carries supplies to the site.
• Assist in running level rod or prism pole to obtain elevations and observations.
