Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Bessemer, AL seeks a Rodbuster / Rebar Cutter / Fabricator to support concrete production. You will cut, bend, and fabricate rebar, read blueprints, and build cage structures while following safety guidelines.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working outdoors, and occasional overtime. Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug/background checks are required; $17/hr minimum with experience-based pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with rebar cutting, bending and cage fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and tape measures proficiently.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Cut, bend, and fabricate rebar pieces and rebar cages.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to build cage structures.
• Accurately use a tape measure for layout and fabrication.
• Manage and complete multiple projects during the same shift.
• Work outdoors when required and in varying conditions.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and MEWPs after proper training.
• Perform cleanup and housekeeping duties.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• May drive or ride in a company vehicle/service truck with proper authorization
