Job summary

orionexternalcareers is seeking a rodbuster to place and secure steel bars or mesh in concrete forms for reinforcing structural elements. You will work with rodbusters, use tying tools, and operate rod-bending equipment. Expect 8–12 hour shifts, with weekends as needed to meet production goals.

The role requires lifting and moving heavy materials, maintaining equipment, and complying with safety guidelines. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential for successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and climbing in a construction site
• Ability to work long shifts (8–12 hours) and weekends per production needs
• Must follow safety policies and maintain confidentiality of company information

Responsibilities

• Load and unload rebar bundles from trucks
• Carry reinforcing bars of 10–40 feet length
• Deposit or place rebar pieces at final destination
• Tie reinforcing bars together with wire and pliers
• Mark bars with paint for cutting or tying
• Tie bars horizontally or vertically as required
• Maintain tools and equipment for long-term use
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times
