Job summary

Astemo Ltd. is seeking a frontline Team Leader who combines hands-on technical oversight with strong leadership to drive safety, quality and efficiency on the production floor.

You will bridge frontline workers and management, enforce PPE and SOPs, monitor metrics, and coordinate workflows to sustain productive operations. This role requires data entry, problem solving, and timely coaching to resolve bottlenecks while maintaining OSHA standards.

Job description

This is a specialized frontline Team Leader role that combines operational oversight with technical expertise to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor. This position serves as a key link between frontline employees and management, requiring both hands‑on technical skills and strong leadership abilities.

Core Skills

• Leadership & Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to guide diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Problem-Solving: Quick, data-driven decision-making and root‑cause analysis to identify and resolve bottlenecks, safety concerns, and quality issues.
• Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of equipment, safety protocols, and operational procedures, including the ability to read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Basic computer proficiency required.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage workflows, schedules, and resources efficiently to maximize productivity and maintain operational flow.
• Safety Awareness: Consistent enforcement of PPE requirements, safety policies, and compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
