Prysmian Group is seeking a Supply Chain Planner for Rod & Strip to execute planning and scheduling to support the S&OP plan, driving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will work closely with Inside Sales, the Product Team and Plant scheduling personnel at two facilities based in Canada.

Your role ensures inventory targets and production levels meet business objectives. The position requires coordinating across functions to optimize service levels, balance stock, and adjust

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in a Supply Chain or Operations role is preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) is essential
• Familiarity with enterprise systems and databases

Responsabilités

• Plan timely purchase of raw materials and finished goods to comply with stock level policies
• Develop sales and operations plans for the assigned area to optimize cost and service level
• Bridge between sales and manufacturing to manage priorities and changes in the plan to optimize service level and costs
• Review unusual demand flags for appropriate action
• Analyze stock sales to create ABC classifications and identify slow-moving inventory
• Compute safety stock and reorder points for stock program
• Update and publish lead times
• Review customer service metrics and investigate root causes
• Order outsourced products as needed
• Maintain proper balance of inventory throughout manufacturing and distribution network
• Establish priorities for production and expedite requests
• Execute production schedules in line with the S&OP plan across plants
