Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a TEST STAND MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for the 2nd shift at our McGregor, TX facility. You will support the build, activation, modification, and improvement of fluid and mechanical test stands used for high‑power rocket engine testing.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical subsystems, following SpaceX safety and quality policies, and collaborating with design and operations engineers to drive reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, cryogenic, high-pressure gas, or data systems.
• Experience working in a fast-paced testing environment and following safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Modify and maintain test stands and ground support equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Maintain mechanical and fluid systems components.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve test site reliability.
• Follow safety, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and SpaceX procedures.
• Support priority projects and irregular hours as needed.
