HTC Global Services is seeking a Design Release Engineer to support the design and release of rocker molding systems for exterior body components in a hybrid role based in Dearborn, MI. The position focuses on rocker molding design and release with cross-functional coordination across teams and suppliers.

The role requires collaboration to ensure parts meet North American requirements, timing, and maturity milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience as a Design Release Engineer.
• Understanding of how to design and release injection-molded plastic automotive system components.

Responsibilities

• Design and release rocker molding systems.
• Support the design and development of rocker molding systems.
• Design and release exterior body components to meet North American requirements.
• Provide feedback during feasibility checkpoints.
• Support exterior trim system requirements.
• Coordinate body scope oversight across cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Track program timing, part maturity, and issue resolution across a body system.
