Qualifications
- Must connect with people of all ages and skill levels (children and teens).
- Degree in Music Education or Music Performance is a plus.
- Must demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill during interview.
- Commit to teaching with us for at least 1 year.
- Submit a Music Specific Resume.
- Multi-instrumentalist preferred; bands involve multiple instruments.
- Experience teaching rock bands or being in a band.
- Basic knowledge of live sound and mixing board.
Responsibilities
- Instruct a Rock Band group for 1-hour lessons/rehearsals.
- Create Rock Band plans, selecting songs suitable for age/skill.
- Prepare students for Rock Band shows.
- Help students reach goals as a band.
- Assist bands with performances or fill in for missing members.
- Communicate progress with parents/guardians.
