Together for Youth is seeking a Supervising Group Home Worker to lead and support our group home team in Rochester, NY. You will mentor staff, plan activities, and promote safe, therapeutic living for youth. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.

We provide 2–3 weeks of paid orientation and training to ensure you are set up for success. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualificações

• Experience supervising staff in a group home, residential setting, or related childcare environment.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and build therapeutic relationships.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and on-call rotations.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred in human services or related field.

The Supervising Group Home Worker position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Group Home including mentoring and supporting the youth to ensure a safe, therapeutic and nurturing home environment for youth and team.Job Responsibilities• Plan and engage youth in activities.• Teach daily and independent living skills; mentor and promote community integration.• Form therapeutic relationships with youth and families.• Supervise designated Group Home Workers and daily program activities in the absence of management.• Assist in maintaining staff schedules and coverage.Job Requirements• Minimum 1- year of supervisory experience OR 2 years congregate care setting or related childcare or human services environment.• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in human services, Criminal Justice or related field preferred.• Flexible availability required including nights, weekends, holidays and on-call rotation.•Must have a current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving history to the Agency• Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population.Paid Orientation & TrainingAll new hires must complete 2-3 weeks of mandatory, fully paid training to ensure you are set up for success!New Hire Training is held Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
