Job summary

Mains’l Services in Rochester, MN seeks Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals in their homes, promoting independence and personal growth. You’ll support daily living, accompany people to activities, and document care.

We offer on-the-job training, education assistance, 401(k) with match, health insurance, and time off. A valid driver's license and DHS background check are required.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping others and making a difference.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid US driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a DHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide supports aligned with what is needed for the person and authorized for Mains’l to provide (e.g., dressing, bathing, responding to behavioral situations, coaching through difficult situations).
• Support transportation to activities and attend medical appointments as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming living environments (including laundry, housekeeping, and meal preparation).
• Teach valuable skills—from financial management to communication.
• Be a source of companionship, guidance, and advocacy.
• Document care accurately to ensure accurate medical records.
• Complete and stay up to date on trainings assigned.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team on service plans.

What You’ll Do:

Wage: $20.00/hour
