Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Robot Welding Part Loader for 1st and 2nd shifts in Hesston, KS. You will work on a robotic welding line, loading units, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality and safe operation on the assembly line.

Qualifications

• High School /GED diploma preferred (required to maintain the pre-treatment system only)
• Ability to comply with safety standards (full body Tivex suits, air purifying respirator)
• Technical ability to elevate issues when identified
• Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead

Responsibilities

• Assemble/fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture
• Use various hand tools such as grinders, scrapers, or other types of finishing tools to ensure quality product
• Control operation of robot, cleaning and inspection.
• Read and understand operation standard, as needed, such as blueprint.
• Manual movement and lifting by clamping parts together by hand and/or using hand tools.
