Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Robot Welding Part Loader for the 1st shift (6:30 AM–2:30 PM) in Hesston, KS. You will be part of a robotic welding line, assembling sub-assemblies, using hand tools, and ensuring safe, high-quality output.

The role requires a safety-conscious mindset, ability to read blueprints, and adherence to standard work. Training is provided, with competitive pay and benefits as part of a large global manufacturer.

Qualifications

• High School / GED diploma preferred (required to maintain the pre-treatment system only)
• Ability to comply with safety standards (full Tivex suits, air purifying respirator)
• Technical ability to elevate issues when identified
• Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture
• Use hand tools such as grinders and scrapers to ensure quality product
• Control operation of robot, cleaning and inspection
• Read and understand operation standards, such as blueprints
• Manual movement and lifting by clamping parts together by hand and/or using hand tools
