Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Welding Robot Operator to safely load/unload parts, operate robotic welding equipment, and inspect welds for quality. The role emphasizes adherence to safety, quality standards, and efficient production flow on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include monitoring cycles, making basic adjustments, recording data, and ensuring proper fixture setup. Candidates should have 1+ year manufacturing experience and CAD reading skills.

Qualifications

• One year or more of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, metal finishing, or production environment.
• Ability to use computer to access blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Must have basic math, reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload workpieces into robotic welding fixtures and equipment safely.
• Start, operate, monitor, and adjust robotic welding machines and production lines to meet requirements.
• Follow written work instructions, quality standards, and production specifications to ensure product conformance.
• Perform visual inspections of welds and finished parts to identify defects or quality issues.
• Test completed workpieces to verify weld integrity and compliance with quality requirements.
• Remove defective parts from production and report quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.
• Ensure proper positioning and securing of parts in welding fixtures prior to initiating automated welding cycles.
