Fisher Barton in Watertown, WI is seeking a Specialty Weld Associate 1 for the 3rd shift (10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.). You will learn robotic welding and how to use calipers and height gauges, gaining hands-on experience with inspection equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills to analyze information and measuring equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to Fisher Barton Safety and Quality procedures and regulations and business code of ethics.
• Producing assemblies of metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards, including repetitively lifting and placing metal work pieces and sheets into fixtures manually and repetitively, removing completed assemblies.
• Reading control plans and prints to determine specifications, such as parts and fixtures to be used, placement of parts, dimensions and tolerances, proper labeling of parts, etc.
• Accurately completing all required functions to ensure only quality product is produced and shipped to customers.
• Safely completing finishing functions such as grinding, sanding, etc.
• Performing operator maintenance and/or 5S housekeeping
