Job summary

Rhoda AI is building next-generation generalist robots and seeks a Test Engineer to advance validation across hardware, firmware, and software. You will create scalable test frameworks, hardware-in-the-loop environments, and data-driven validation tools to ensure product readiness.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in robotics test engineering, strong Python/C++ skills, and hands-on lab experience with embedded systems. Collaboration across hardware, firmware, and software is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in test engineering, robotics, or related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
• Experience with embedded systems and common comms protocols (CAN/SPI/I2C/UART).
• Hands-on with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
• Experience with Git in collaborative environments.
• Strong systems-thinking and data-driven debugging mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for hardware, firmware, and software validation.
• Build hardware-in-the-loop and system-level validation environments that reflect real-world operation.
• Identify and help resolve multidisciplinary failures before milestones.
• Maintain traceability from requirements through validation results.
• Generate performance, reliability, and characterization data to inform decisions.
