ABB in the United States is seeking a Robotics Territory Sales Manager to lead direct sales of complete robotics systems, solutions and services to manufacturing sectors. You will manage a West Coast-focused territory with cross-NA support, travel Tue-Thu, and a preference for Texas or California remote office locations.

This role will support a territory focused on the West Coast (TX, NV, NM, CA, WA, OR) with additional support across North America as needed.Travel is expected Tuesday-Thursday with strong preference to remote office location in either TX or CA.Core ResponsibilitiesDetermines account and acquisition plans to support growth.Promotes value add service product offerings.Achieves service sales volume by ensuring entire service portfolio is sold.Ensure setting, periodic reviewing, and achievement of service sales targets by providing cost effective solutions to the customers and initiating improvement plans as needed.Analyzes service market potential and ensures proper customer relationship management.Establish long-term relationships with key customers and decision makers by understanding their requirements and relevant regulations and by exhibiting high level of expertise in technical solutions and products.Responsible for feedback on sales development, distribution of resources for service sales activities, and reporting current market status.Monitors client’s financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams.RequirementsBachelor’s degree and 5 or more years proven experience in strong business development, sales and closing of multiple large deals.Automation, robotics or manufacturing sales expertise strongly preferred.Strong relationship building and solution selling to all audiences.Knowledge of industry, strong work ethic, problem solving and presentations skills.Self-motivated and ability to manage time effectively.What's in it for youWe empower you to take the lead, share bold ideas, and shape real outcomes.
