Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Robotics Technician to operate and maintain cobots and robotic welding cells within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The role covers setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ongoing optimization of automated welding systems throughout the production area.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or welding certification preferred.
2–5 years welding/robotic welding/automation/manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience operating robotic welding equipment and cobots is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate cobots and robotic welding cells to support daily production.
Perform setup, changeovers, and parameter adjustments for welding programs.
Load/unload components and position them in welding fixtures.
Monitor welding operations for quality and safety compliance.
Troubleshoot welding issues and equipment alarms; assist with maintenance.
