Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a hands-on technician to operate, test, and maintain unmanned, servo‑mechanical and electromechanical equipment at our High Point, NC facility. You will align, fit, and assemble components using hand tools and read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine assembly methods.

You will analyze test results, repair and calibrate assemblies, develop and test robots and PLCs, and train others to install and maintain automation equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with unmanned automation equipment testing.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience installing electrical components and hardware.
  • Knowledge of robotics and PLC programming.
