Job summary

Complete Playground in Downtown Manhattan is seeking an enthusiastic Robotics & STEM Instructor to lead hands-on classes for children ages 6-12. You will develop engaging projects and introduce students to robotics, coding, engineering, and problem-solving.

The role is part-time with weekday afternoons, with the potential to become full-time as programs expand. You will adapt lessons to different learning styles and help grow the robotics program to younger age groups and beyond.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching robotics, STEM, coding, engineering, or related subjects.
  • Experience working directly with children.
  • Patient, energetic, creative, and comfortable with different learning styles.
  • Robotics platforms such as LEGO Education, VEX, Arduino, micro:bit, or similar experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with neurodiverse children is highly valued.

Complete Playground is looking for an enthusiastic Robotics & STEM Instructor to lead engaging, hands-on classes for children.

Our current robotics program primarily serves children ages 6-12, and we are preparing to significantly expand our STEM and robotics programming to additional age groups.

This position will initially be part-time, primarily weekday afternoons, with the opportunity to develop into a full-time position over the next several months as our programs expand.

Schedule

Part-time, primarily weekday afternoons in Downtown Manhattan. Some weekend opportunities may also be available.
