ThoughtForge AI is building a dedicated robotics software team to develop arm systems for both simulated environments and real hardware. You will own key software areas and drive practical solutions from concept to deployment.

You’ll work across motion planning, control, perception, and manipulation with a senior team on hybrid/remote collaboration, supporting sensitive US government contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering required.
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Robotics domain knowledge: Dynamics, Controls, Planning, Estimation, and Computer Vision.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with C++, Git, ROS/ROS2, and simulators like Mujoco, Gazebo.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software that runs in both simulation and on real hardware.
• Prototype quickly, then harden ideas into deployable systems.
• Measure robot behavior with tests and metrics to close the sim-to-reality gap.
