Hadrian in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer Intern to help design, develop, and deploy software behind our autonomous manufacturing systems. You’ll work with experienced engineers on real production systems that operators rely on daily.

You’ll build internal tools, contribute to backend services, and help improve visibility into production workflows. This internship offers hands-on experience in cutting‑edge automation at a fast‑moving, mission‑driven company.

Qualifications

• Current university student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Strong proficiency in C++ or Python.
• Exposure to motion control, trajectory generation, and robot kinematics/dynamics.
• Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams and end-to-end project ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve internal tools, dashboards, and automation systems that support factory operations.
• Contribute to backend services, APIs, and data pipelines used across engineering, operations, and quality teams.
• Help design and implement features that improve visibility into production workflows, capacity, and program status.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, program management, and quality to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Surface technical risks and contribute to architectural discussions.
