Gritt in the SF Bay Area is seeking an experienced Robotics Software Engineer to architect scalable software for our autonomous systems. You will build robust frameworks for real-time robotics, optimize performance, and own significant portions of the software stack from perception to planning.

You\'ll thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, collaborate across teams, and influence product evolution. In-person role with a strong focus on deploying production-grade robotics software.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience deploying high-performance software in production for robotics.
• Experience with autonomy functions including perception, planning, and control.
• Proficient with ROS2 and robotics visualization tools such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy robust architectures and frameworks for robotics.
• Drive real-world deployments and optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Integrate sensing modalities (cameras, LIDAR, tactile) into autonomous stacks.
• Handle large volumes of data in real time with profiling and memory management.
• Collaborate across teams to advance the autonomy stack.
