Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation's Isaac team is building simulation tools on Omniverse to evaluate robot foundation models in photorealistic environments. We seek a research engineer to translate research ideas into Isaac Lab Arena capabilities and drive adoption with researchers and product engineers.

You will collaborate across robotics research and product engineering, design scalable simulation tools, and stay at the forefront of robotics and ML research.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of industry or post-degree research engineering experience in robotics, simulation, or robot learning.
• Proficiency using Python and development experience with deep learning stacks (PyTorch, Jax, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Build simulation frameworks for training robot foundation models on top of NVIDIA's Omniverse platform.
• Partner with research to design, implement, and evaluate novel algorithms for robot learning.
• Drive technical architecture, set evaluation standards, and cross-team leadership between Research and Product.
• Work as part of a high-paced software engineering team: code reviews, testing, CI/CD, deployment.
• Train and evaluate robot foundation models and integrate LLM/agentic workflows into simulations.
