Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, CS, Electrical/Mechanical Eng., or equivalent experience.
• 12+ total years building robotics or robotics-adjacent systems with 3+ years leading teams.
• Hands-on with robotic arms, grasping, planning, and control, including impedance and contact-rich manipulation.
• Understanding of GPU-accelerated computing and ML infrastructure (CUDA, PyTorch).
• Ability to work with external partners and translate needs into roadmap and shipping product.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals in C++ and Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Isaac Manipulation team: recruit, grow, mentor, set direction and delivery.
• Shape the roadmap for grasping, motion, perception-for-manipulation, and learned policies.
• Translate hard manipulation tasks into production capabilities for real-world use.
• Bridge research and product with NVIDIA Research, Isaac Sim/Lab, and foundation-model teams.
• Engage partners and developers; gather requirements and ensure APIs meet workflows.
• Drive architecture to fully utilize GPUs, CUDA, and accelerated stack across simulation, training, and on-robot inference.
• Deliver complex multi-functional programs with focus on quality and deployment.
• Influence platform-level strategy and NVIDIA investments in robotics stack.
