Job summary

NVIDIA seeks an exceptional engineering leader to head Isaac Manipulation, directing perception, grasping, motion, and learned skills for robotic arms in real-world settings. You will shape strategy, mentor top robotics engineers, and partner with NVIDIA Research and foundation-model teams to turn research into shipping platform capabilities for factory floors and warehouses.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Robotics, CS, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of robotics or robotics-adjacent systems experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Hands-on robotics expertise: arms, manipulation, grasping, motion planning, and control.
• Experience with GPU-accelerated computing and modern ML infrastructure (CUDA, PyTorch).
• Ability to work with external partners, customers, and developer communities to shape roadmap and shipping product.
• Strong software fundamentals in modern C++ and Python and architectural decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Isaac Manipulation team: hire, mentor, set direction, and ensure delivery.
• Shape the roadmap for grasping, motion planning, perception-for-manipulation, and learned policies.
• Translate hard manipulation tasks into robust platform capabilities for real-world use.
• Bridge research and product with NVIDIA Research, Isaac Sim/Lab, and foundation-model teams.
• Engage partners and developers to capture requirements and drive API/tools adoption.
• Drive architecture that leverages GPUs, CUDA, and accelerated compute across simulation, training, and on-robot inference.
• Own planning and execution of complex programs and ensure real-world deployment of learned policies.
• Influence platform-level strategy and investment in the robotics stack.
