Job summary

Nissan is seeking a Robotics Programmer Intern in Smyrna, TN to join a team focused on solving manufacturing challenges and improving robotic processes that support vehicle production. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience with robotic systems in a manufacturing setting and an opportunity to contribute to process optimization.

Applicants should be enrolled in a relevant engineering or robotics program (Junior or Senior) and ready to work onsite.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field.
Junior or Senior year at start of term.
Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing automation.
GPA 3.0 or above; transcript may be required during application.
Ability to work onsite at Smyrna, TN.

Responsibilities

Develop understanding of Sealer Robotic Applications within manufacturing operations.
Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency, quality and reliability.
Support robotic trials, testing activities, and process evaluations.
Track trial results and create reports with findings, recommendations and outcomes.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
