Built Robotics in San Francisco seeks a hands-on fabrication technician to prototype, assemble, and test metal parts for autonomous equipment. You’ll fabricate steel and aluminum assemblies, assemble Exosystems, and perform on-site installations at our SF office and Mojave facility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fabrication, prototype design, soldering and metalworking.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Proficient with data entry, checklists and organization.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and learn new skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices on site.
• Ability to drive trucks and lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate prototype assemblies (steel and aluminum) using standard tools.
• Prototype quick-turn assemblies and assemble Exosystems for autonomous equipment.
• Test hardware, refine and improve designs based on results.
• Perform equipment and facility maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop.
• Operate heavy equipment for testing.
• Work in-person at SF office and Mojave testing facility.
