Job summary

Generalist AI, Inc. is seeking a customer-facing product engineering role to diagnose, teach, QA, and run our robots. You will spend 1/4 of your time with customers to learn use cases and distill product requirements, then implement those ideas across web UIs, APIs, hardware, and robot interfaces.

You’ll work across the stack with researchers, engineers, and operations to advance embodied AI on real-world robots.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing product engineer with PM-like responsibilities.
• Experience building applications for diagnosing, teaching, QA, and running robots.
• Ability to distill customer use cases into product requirements.
• Experience across web UIs, APIs, hardware appliances, and robot interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Craft external and internal API interfaces that customers and partners use.
• Build tools and workflows to accelerate researchers, engineers, and operators.
• Own the primary web application used to evaluate and train robot models.
